Local Public Eatery

Used to have the BEST nachos ever! They changed them to beef and they aren't the same. They are okay at best but for 19.5 they aren't worth it. One single layer or chips?! Also, last night was apparently your staff Christmas party, the replacement staff were terrible. We had to wave down our server to order (took 35 minutes to get our order in!) Pops were not refilled either. Local is my favorite pub but last night was so disappointing!!

When we lived in Edmonton from 2014-2016 we went to Local South Common quite a bit. We were just back recently for a visit and of course we had to see if the food was still great! Went in around 3 and got our food at a really great price! The server even informed us of waiting about 10 ish minutes so that we would get the discounted prices. Fish tacos are still bomb. Nachos were excellent and same with the guacamole and chips. Best fries I’ve ever had!! The server was really great to! I forget her name (totally bad with names) but it was Thursday January 23. When we come back to Edmonton we will definitely we coming back here!!

The service we received yesterday was AMAZING! There was always a waitress to take care of us. And the food was great as always. The lemon truffle yam fries = SO GOOD!🤤
